Ms Lee P., Dec 4, 2009, 6:33PM ESTHi Sherry. I just sent you an answer to your private message question. The short story I worte is true. Playing the Santa game saved my children from feeling inadequate when their presents were not as big and grand as some of their friends presents. They knew we bought what we could afford and often went into debt doing so. They grew up and now have children of their own and not one of my children turned out to be an axe murderer. LOL
As small children they often shared with other small children that santa wasn't real because they were kids and kids tell stuff. Some of the Moms were angry with me, but they got over it. I had a group of campfire girls once that was discussing the reality of Santa and they asked me if he was real (7 and 8 year olds). I told them that if they believed in Santa he would probably come to their house and if they didn't believe in Santa then he would not show up at their house but I bet they would get presents anyway. They never asked me again.
